It works!

November 22, 2024

I am a long time neighbor of Rick Suddes of Rataway.com. For many years I was skeptical of Rick’s claims about Rataway Fragrance. That is, until my next door neighbors car was severely damaged by rats. That same week I saw a big black rat in my garage that jumped up into the wheel well of my car and disappear into a gap above the rear axle. I immediately looked under the hood and sure enough, there were rat droppings. The next day I got two bottles of Rataway from Rick and a bottle of waterproof agent. I hosed down my car and when it dried I spray the entire engine compartment, under carriage and trunk lining. I am now spraying my car regularly as part of my routine vehicle maintenance and have not seen a rat or rat sign since! It works. Thanks Rick!

Deterrence
There are many smells that rats hate, such as sesame and peppermint. Spraying those scents on your car engine could help prevent an infestation, Mahmud and Gomez said.

But Letizia vouched for another product: Rataway.

“I don't know the formula. It's probably as secret as Coca Cola," Letizia said.

Letizia said he uses the product in the four or five cars that come to his shop in a typical week with rat troubles. The concentrate has a faint peppermint smell and can be sprayed all over a car engine.

“People have used cedar chips, they have used peppermint spray, and I've even had people use Irish spring [soap]. They grate it like a cheese grater, and that sometimes works. But the Rataway, without sounding like I'm pushing a product, is the best,” Letizia said.
